Looks like Sam Allardyce isn't the only one who doesn't know what the West Ham way is - in part, it's screwing up just when everyone thinks things are going to go well. We've always done that. And probably things will get better and this bad spell will become a distant memory - until the next time.
It's been like this as long as I can remember in my 54 years of supporting West Ham. I'm happy with it, as long as we still get enough highs to go with the lows.

We've been pretty awful since the last month of last season, and we need to learn why and get better.

Does that about sum it up?

There're some right pricks support us these days. Fucking whinging cunts. I think the attitude of the modern fan is what will make me jack it in one day, not the money, or the stadium, or the massive commercialisation and hype, but listening to absolute pricks talk absolute shit.

It wasn't a good game, we defended badly, but these things happen. Give it a fucking rest you drama queens.

He's a twat going on about the decision they got wrong. We've been utter shit in every game so far this season and shouldn't have won any games so far. Slav needs to shut his noise and stop poncing about believing his own hype. Shitcunt.

We had to wait until our 8th game to get our second win in 1985-6.

A slow start stopped us from winning the league, so it was bad news, but it wasn't THAT bad.

A defeat tomorrow and we will have to accept that we are genuine relegation candidates.
REALLY!

A defeat tomorrow and we will have to accept that we are genuine relegation candidates.

I had a season ticket in 2002-3. We kept saying that no way we would go down with Joe Cole, PDC, Carrick, Sinclair, Kanoute, Defoe etc. And we were also coming off a 7th place finish the season before. Expectations were sky high.

Well it won't be quite as bad as that season because as I recall we didn't win a home game until Blackburn at the end of January. At least we have already won one at home this season.

But anyone who says we are too good to go down is talking nonsense. Our team is rattled and lacks confidence. That's what eats away at the players. They go out expecting to lose and to get all the luck going against them. If we lose tomorrow we will be in a crisis, make no mistake.

Bilic knows it. If he's going to turn it around it has to start to tomorrow.

What else could he say but like others have said we need to win tomorrow.

Well, it's not is it. He has to do a column and he has put down his honest thoughts.

Yes, we do need a win. Slav knows that, the players know that and so do we.

But it's not like he's just come out with this. He's paid to offer his thoughts and opinions. He has to say something doesn't he?

Mallard is right though - the way we were defending we would most likely still have lost.

It doesn't matter that he didn't touch it as by chasing it down he forced Collins to play and so by definition was interfering with play.

An appalling decision by the officials (I am a qualified ref).

Had that goal been disallowed, we would have still lost the game

I came across that article that pointed out how we got the shit end of the stick from the refs last season. So far nothing's changed

The fact that Deeny was chasing Collins' heels means he was interfering with the play.

Definite off-side and another wrong decision that did not help us in any way.

Ho hum.

Re: Bilic article in today's Evening Standard
The thing about that Watford goal is that Collins was the first player to touch it. You often see that the lino doesn't flag until an attacking player touches the ball, not when they're just in an offside position. Not sure what the rule is on that.

Re: Bilic article in today's Evening Standard
Bore off Slav, this shit means nothing when you miss the blindingly obvious every week. I expect a draw at Brom, another poor result.
